My name is Nur Hidayah. Everyone calls me dayah, but my family calls me Kak Yang. I was born on 31st July 1988, which same birthday with The Queen of Rock Malaysia, Ella. Now, I’m 21 years old. I came from one of the village in Bagan Datoh, Perak which name Kampung Sungai Haji Muhammad. I’m the 2nd daughter of 5 siblings. I’m also the single daughter in my family. I have one elder brother and three younger brothers. My mother’s name is Sahariah binti Md Zin. She works at one of the company in Perak. While my father’s name is Azmi bin Mat Piah, but he already passed away, eight years ago. I was started my study at 5 years old in Tabika Sungai Haji Muhammad for two years. After that, I entered primary school in Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Haji Muhammad, and got 4A’s and 1B in UPSR. With my quite good result, I got an offer from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Slim River. I enroll to that school on 11st January 2001 which is on my mother’s birthday. In 2003, I seated for PMR exam. 3 months after that I got the result. I felt so happy because I got 9A’s for the exam. With my result I continued my study in the same school. I entered upper form and took science stream class. I studied biology, physics, chemistry and another else. In 2005, I seated for SPM exam. While waiting for the result, I went to my auntie’s house in Kuala Lumpur. I stay with him for only one week. It’s because I was not used with KL life on that moments. I went back to my hometown. I asked my brother for a job, and he asked me to work with him at night market. At there, I sold a lot of food, such as crunchy fried chicken, fried, rice and the others foods. The salary that I got is not sufficient with my sweat, but I felt so happy, because I got a lot of friends there. After a few months, SPM was come out. And I got 6A’s and the rest are B. After that I got an offer from Penang Matriculation College. I took physical science study. I met a lot of friends from another state, such as Penang, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Selangor, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Perak as well. In the first semester I got 3.94 pointers, while in the second semester I got 4.00 pointers. I think I love Matriculation moments very much, because in matriculation is the highest result that I ever gotten.
With my good CGPA, I got an offer from National University of Malaysia to further my study for chemical Engineering course. It is a very tough course compared to the others. However, I still fell happy because I have a lot of friends to help me in study. Now, I’m in the 4rd semester. I hope my friends and I will get a very good result and achieve our ambition.
