In botany, flora (plural: floras or florae) has two meanings. The first meaning, flora of an area or of time period, refers to all plant life occurring in an area or time period, especially the naturally occurring or indigenous plant life. The second meaning refers to a book or other work which describes the plant species occurring in an area or time period, with the aim of allowing identification. The corresponding term that refers to all animal life is fauna. Some classic and modern floras are listed below.

The term flora comes from Latin language Flora, the goddess of flowers in Roman mythology. The corresponding term for animal life is fauna. Flora, fauna and other forms of life such as fungi are collectively referred to as biota.

My name is Unaishah Binti Salleh, my friends call me Sya or Unai. I’m 21 years old for this year. At the moment, I’m in my first year at National University of Malaysia. I came from Kampung Temiang, Kuala Krai, Kelantan. But now on I live at Kolej Pendeta Za’ba at National University of Malaysia.

My birthday is 14th April 1988. I was born at Ketereh, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. I have lovely parents with one beautiful sister, four brother, and two younger brother.

MY HOMETOWN

It is a well-known fact that every living on earth has its own place of living. So do I, I too have a place of my own which is my home. My house is very beautiful and exciting. It is well-facilitated because it is situated nearby a city and is surrounded by my other relatives’ houses.

I have stayed in the house since I was small until now. However, there is a lot of renovation have been done since then. There are too many memories in the house. It is built with my father’s own effort. My family and I are very happy living inside our own house.

The house that I am living now is very big suitable to my big family. It is well-equipped with furniture. There are five rooms and three toilets. There are also two wide living rooms. We have also a store room; a room to keep things. Besides, my house is beautified with flowers’ trees that make its environment more beautiful and calm.

Furthermore, my house was facilitated with advanced and modern security system. In addition, there have garage for car park and also play place for kids. The house has been painted with green light color and its roof with red color, which is very beautiful and attractive. It has been proved when my house has won the most beautiful and clean in its territory. That is why; I was so proud and happy with my house. So that, hopefully when I have my own family and house, I will make it same as what I had with my family before.

MY MOTHER

My mother name’s Rokiah binti Ibrahim, she was 47 years old and has six siblings which consist with one brother and five sisters and my mother is the youngest one. My mother is a kind person, hardworking women, dislike grudge with others, gentle and always like to smile. However, my mother is so firm person in educating her children. Apart from that, she is sincere and honest in charged her duties as a mother and a wife.

I love my mother very much, and she loves me too as her daughter. This has been proved and clear when my mother is willingly took thoroughness and sacrificed for bringing up my family. Hereby I will not forget her kindness and good deeds to all of us. Moreover, my mother is a respectful and faithful wife to her husband which is my father that why I love her so much and will always respect her as my beloved mother.
